Elk County Sheriff Todd Caltagarone and John Wygant of the Ridgway Fire Department recently teamed up for gun safety with Project ChildSafe.
"Well we were having a committee meeting at the Firehall about the gun raffle and I brought up my thought that we should give out gun locks with the guns this next raffle, and everyone agreed with me," said Wygant. “So I reached out to Todd to ask about the possibility of buying the and he said no to the buying, but he could give them to us for free thanks to Project ChildSafe."
"I had just gotten a shipment of them in and was easily able to order more," said Sheriff Caltagarone. "I have worked with Project ChildSafe for many years and this will easily benefit not just Ridgway but the entire County as people from all over attend the Ridgway Fire Department Gun Bash."
