Football second season begins Friday

The District 9 football postseason is set. Six teams are in the hunt for the Class AA Championship and five are set to clash for the Class A title.
The 9-1 Ridgway Elkers are the number one seed in Class AA. Clarion (9-1) is the two seed and both will receive byes this week.
The 8-2, No. 3 seed Brookville Raiders will play host to the sixth seed Kane Wolves (5-4) Friday night. Keystone (9-1), who plays in the District 9 Small School South Division is the fourth seed, and will host the five-seed Karns City Gremlins (7-3) Friday.
