Lady Elkers face ECC in AML semi-finals

The Lady Elkers travel to Elk County Catholic Thursday night (6 p.m.) for an AML semi-final matchup. Ridgway finished the regular season 16-5 and second in the AML South. The Lady Elkers will look to defeat the North Division champs for a third time this season. The Ridgway girls won, 32-30, in the semi-finals of the Elk County Holiday Tournament on a buzzer-beating shot by Gabbi Rohr after a steal by Payton Delhunty. The Lady Elkers overcame an 18-13 halftime deficit to win at home, 36-31, Jan. 16. Ridgway has won nine of its last 10 games. The Lady Crusaders (13-9) enter tonight’s game having lost three straight and four of their last six. Kane plays at DuBois Central Catholic in the other semi-final. The championship game will be played at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Marys High School.
