Light Up Night to take place tonight

The Elk County Chamber of Commerce and the Ridgway Holiday Decorating Committee have the Courthouse Square all decked out for Light up Night and the Yuletide Memories Winter Festival happening this weekend. 
Light Up Night will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the Gazebo on the Courthouse lawn. Come on out for the official start of the Holiday Season. 
This year’s Yuletides Memories event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 24 in conjunction with “Shop Small Saturday." The annual holiday shopping tradition that gets communities everywhere out in support of their favorite small businesses.
Santa will be present for photo shoots, children can bring their wish list and put it in Santa’s Mailbox, adult and children’s community choirs will be singing carols, vendor sales at St. Leo’s Catholic Church Social Hall, a variety of food will be available Live Christmas trees will be for sale, gingerbread house building for kids, face painting, special events/sales within the retail establishments, Polar Express story reading, horse and carriage rides with Santa, live reindeer, and more. It begins at 9 a.m. and continues until 5 p.m. all throughout Ridgway.
