Revised Strawberry Festival taking place today

Staff Writer

The Elk County Historical Society will be holding their Annual Strawberry Festival a little differently this year. The event will take place today and it will be at St. Leo's again, but there are some changes from previous years.
The festival will not take place in the social hall at the church, instead, it will be a drive-through, but still feature the fresh-made dessert that is the highlight of the event each year.
Due to the cold weather this spring, local strawberries are not going to be ready or available for the festival, so the Historical Society has reached out to Steve Cleveland at Elk County Foods to provide the signature item for the event.
