Ridgway Heritage Council holds annual Tasting in the Wilds festival

The annual wine, beer, food and art festival celebrating the tastes of the Pennsylvania Wilds has become a popular annual event for families and friends, with people traveling back home to Ridgway just for this festival. Hundreds turned out for the celebration under the crystal clear blue skies on Saturday.
Local Wine and Beer makers showed off their wares to attendees with several bands playing in the background.
Food vendors included a crab cake booth, and Calla's wide variety of sandwiches, including their famous Beef-on-Wick.
Even as the temperature neared 90 degrees, people kept arriving to enjoy the day and some Elk County-made products with friends and neighbors.
Special VIP tickets were available online that included wine and food pairing in a VIP area with table service.
