Woman faces drug charges after stop

A Ridgway woman is facing charges after a traffic stop revealed that she was under the influence of a controlled substance.
According to an affidavit of probable cause filed at the office of Magisterial District Judge Mark S. Jacob of St. Marys on Friday, Rachel Susan Smith, 36, of 227 B West Main Street, Ridgway, was allegedly under the influence of a controlled substance when a vehicle stop was initiated in St. Marys in the early morning hours of June 18.
